24-Passenger Mini Bus Rental Chicago | Meridian Fleet

The 24-passenger mini bus is the sweet spot vehicle for groups that are too big for a Sprinter (14 passengers) but smaller than a 30-passenger party bus. Meridian Fleet Chicago runs an air-conditioned 24-passenger mini-coach for Chicago weddings, corporate offsites, prom groups, and downtown nightlife runs.

When the 24-Passenger Mini Bus Is the Right Pick

Group Size	Best Vehicle
1-3	Executive sedan
4-6	Cadillac Escalade
7-13	Mercedes Sprinter
14-24	24-passenger mini bus
25-30	30-passenger party bus
31-40	40-passenger party bus
41+	Motor coach

If your group has luggage (airport groups, wedding-party multi-day events), the mini bus has dedicated cargo space the party buses do not. If your group wants standing room and a dance floor, the 40-passenger party bus is the better fit.

Common Chicago Use Cases

Wedding Guest Shuttle

Run the mini bus on a continuous loop between hotel and venue for 4-5 hours. Most weddings need 2 round-trip pickup loops; the 24-seat capacity handles a 50-guest hotel block in two runs. See wedding shuttle service for full timing math.

Corporate Group Transport

Conference attendees from O'Hare hotels to the Loop, sales-team offsite to a North Shore retreat, or holiday-party transport from Loop offices to a North Side venue. The mini bus is the corporate workhorse.

Sports Game Tailgates

Bears game group of 20 from the suburbs to Soldier Field is a perfect mini-bus run. Drivers stay parked at the Soldier Field lot during the game and drive the group home after. See our Bears game day limo page.

Prom and Homecoming

A 24-passenger mini bus fits a prom group of 22 with room to breathe. Multi-stop pickup, dinner stop, photos, dance, and after-party, all six hours wrapped in one upfront fare.
