Chicago Major Tourist Events
Three major tourist events drive heavy summer transportation demand:
- Taste of Chicago, Grant Park, mid-July, free entry (formerly 5-day, recently 3-day)
- Chicago Air and Water Show, North Avenue Beach, mid-August, free
- Chicago Auto Show, McCormick Place, early February, ticketed
Each has unique logistics:
- Taste: full Grant Park closure, vendor + crowd density
- Air & Water: lakefront viewing, multiple beach + park drop zones
- Auto Show: McCormick Place, heavy traffic, paid parking constrained
Pricing
| Vehicle | Capacity | 5-Hour | 6-Hour |
